I'm walking, yeah yeah

Claire has discovered bipedal transportation. She's been walking all over the place holding onto walls and furniture for a while now. But never taking steps on her own. Well, last Tuesday night I worked w/ her and she took 3 steps on her own. The next day it was 12, and now she can do a complete circle around the house (foyer, breakfast room, hall, playroom, living room). She loves to walk holding our hand but will walk on her own if encouraged. It only took her 16 months to figure it out! :) I think part of it is that she is just so chubby (24.5 pounds) and also she's just a laid-back little girl. She had no motivation to walk whatsoever.
