Claire is 17.5 months old now and talking way more at this point than Noah was. She started to talk (albeit unintelligibly) at 7 or 8 months. Here is where we stand now:

BUD-duh: brother
GAS-sus: glasses

(panting noises): dog
ME-oww: cat
boo: moo
WA-wa: cod liver oil
wee wee HO: Wee wee wee all the way home (of "This Little Piggy Went to Market" fame)
bear: bear
BAY-bee: baby
meel: milk or water or whatever beverage that you are drinking that she wants
(sniffing noises): flower
(sniffing noises): Yes, I had a bm in my diaper
Mama: "Claire, did you have a poopy?"
Claire: (sniffing noises)
us: give me that
peez: please
uppa: up
up: help
up: open
EEET: eat (usually said w/ much gusto)
CHAK-tuh: tractor
voo voo: vroom vroom
TANK oo Mama: thank you, Mama (regardless of who she is speaking to)
kkkk (said very gutturally): cook
PI-tee: pretty (usually said while brushing her hair and looking in the mirror)
bur: bird
spoo: spoon
mow: mouth
nah nah: no no
no: nose
bye: bite
baa: bath
MA-ma: Mama
DA-da: Daddy
POP-puh: Grandpa
more: more
all done: all done
book: book
pay: play
dow: down
pee-AA-o: piano
hiii: hi
siii: outside
ni-ni: night night
