Picture Day - The Aftermath

We had our pictures taken today. Overall, it went pretty well. Noah was resistant at first, and didn't want to go into the picture room - until we told him that there was a train to play with. That seemed to warm him up to joining us, then he willingly sat on my lap. The photographer had a feather duster that she used to tickle their toes and make them smile. Noah liked this, but Claire was not amused. Noah ended up with a big smile for nearly every picture, but Claire would hardly crack a smile. There was a stuffed teddy bear prop that we gave her, and that seemed to loosen her up a little, but she was still rather stoic compared to her normal jovial self. We were all prepared for a battle with Noah, and in the end it was Claire that was the less-cooperative one. But in the end the pictures ended up looking really good. With children as cute as these, how could they not look good?
