Do as Daddy says, not as he does

Last night as we were eating supper, Noah was talking and seemed to be asking a question of some sort. Problem was, his mouth was full of food so we couldn't understand a word of it. After asking him to repeat his question, it occurred to Doug that Noah shouldn't be talking w/ his mouth full of food to begin w/. So Doug said to him, "Don't talk while you have food in your mouth." I stopped and stared at him for a split second before I burst out laughing. Doug had instructed his son while his own mouth was full of food! He realized why I was laughing and started laughing himself (after he swallowed his food, of course). Noah watched us and then started laughing, though he had no idea why. Claire just sat there and looked at us like we were all weirdos.
