Pat Pat, they call her Pat
Chloe has learned to crawl on all fours now instead of doing the army belly crawl. She's also pulling up on everything and stands up in her crib. That's pretty good for a 7-month-old, I think. Her sitting up unassisted has really improved in the past 2 weeks so that I feel comfortable putting her on the floor w/o any pillows around her.
One of her favorite games is to tear wallpaper off the wall. There's a spot in our hall where the wallpaper had a little tiny rip in it. Little Miss Grabby decided it would look better if she pulled it all off, and that's what she's been trying to do. And then she tries to eat the pieces she pulls off but fortunately she's still got that gag reflex thing going on so nothing gets down her throat.
She has also started patting us on the back. It's very sweet. We'll be carrying or holding her and she will reach around and gives us a few pats on the back. This past Wednesday (July 4th) we were watching fireworks in my hometown. Doug was holding Chloe and she was mesmerized by the display. While she watched, she snuggled in close to him, patted his back, and stroked his neck like Claire does. There was a little puddle of Daddy heart on the grass.
Here's a cute picture I took while putting together Doug's Father's Day card.
