A special surprise for Mother's Day

A few posts back, we told you about our mama bird that built a nest and laid some eggs. We check on them everyday, and today we saw some little baby cardinals! Very appropriate for Mother's Day.




Update: we got some neat pictures and video of the mother bird feeding her babies:



It was also interesting to see the mother bird eating the egg shells. It looks like one of the eggs hasn't hatched.
